Fortifying East and West of SirteIslamic State in Libya (ISL) has been expanding its presence both east and west of Sirte in preparation of an approaching battle with either LNA approaching from the east or Misratan forces approaching from the west.  To the west ISL is fortifying in Abu Grain (140k east of Misrata and west of Sirte and to the east IS is fortifying in Nawfaliyah.  ISL in Bin Jawwad appears to be in at least partial retreat.   Since the beginning of 2016, Islamic State activity along the oil-rich coast of Bin Jawwad, al-Sidra, and Ra's Lanuf have all been impacted by ISL activities.  …
